I was on Fox Business tonight talking about healthcare reform and the so-called "death panels".
I'm hoping Fox posts the clip, but my basic point was that by repeating the phrase "death panels", the President turned a peripheral story into a mainstream one. Rule number one in public relations: never repeat a negative.
The lead in just about every one of the 4,000 stories on the President's town hall meeting in New Hampshire was "President says he doesn't want death panels." Awful PR.
