You're gonna get a Dr Pepper, baby!

*** WORK ALERT ***

Well, the day has finally arrived ... and you can thank the good people at Dr Pepper (read: Greg Artkop) for encouraging Axl Rose to release the long awaited, highly anticipated GNR album "Chinese Democracy."

Most music fans considered the album to be music's version of the Loch Ness monster or Sasquatch -- a thing of mythic quality that didn't really exist (except for you Rizo - I know you think sasquatch and Elvis have a time share in Boca).

But a few loyal GNRists at Dr Pepper (and Chris Kooluris at Ketchum) thought otherwise, and today their dream has become a reality.  So enjoy your free Dr Pepper, courtesy of Axl (except for you Slash -- sorry man).

Footnote:  Kooluris' next project: a Menudo reunion tour!

"Chinese Democracy" is as big an oxymoron as "Axl Rose."

Actually, just make that "moron".
